An autism assessment is a thorough evaluation process that includes a review of developmental history, parent interviews, and direct observation of your child. Our experienced clinicians use evidence-based tools to understand your child’s social communication, behavior, and developmental profile. Families receive a comprehensive report with individualized recommendations for home, school, and community settings.
What to expect:
Intake: Parent-only, online (45–60 minutes)
Assessment: In-person, child-focused (duration varies)
Feedback: Parent-only, online (within 2 weeks of assessment)
Report: Summary provided within 24 hours of feedback; full report available within 2–3 weeks

A private autism assessment provides a clear diagnosis, a roadmap for intervention, and individualized recommendations. Unlike school-based evaluations, we are able to provide a formal diagnosis and detailed treatment planning.
-
We take a strengths-based approach, identifying your child’s unique abilities and interests. Parent and child interviews, as well as standardized checklists, help us understand both areas of challenge and sources of resilience.

Dr. Bode will do an initial assessment remotely with parents seeking assessment services for their kids. Together, they will decide on the best place to do the assessment process. This could be in home, at school, at church or a meeting room at a community space.
Parenting programs are all remote. This allows parents to stay home and not necessarily need to hire a babysitter. We offer our courses later in the evening with hopes that kids may already be in bed or quietly entertained nearby so parents can focus on the class.
